This isn’t too much of a shocker.
Looks like The Oprah Winfrey Show costs a pretty penny to license and distribute, and local news station are looking forward to when the Queen of talk goes off-air so they can save money!!
A source says:
“Oprah’s ratings have eroded so much that the image of Oprah is much stronger than the reality of Oprah, either as a news lead-in or as a money-maker. In many cases, Oprah is a stunning loss leader. There are people who are deeply thankful she is calling it quits.”
They go on to say that whomever comes in to replace the Big O will be “unlikely to get Oprah-sized ratings but are far cheaper.”
Wow. We can only imagine what kind of licensing fees those stations have to pay to put the show on the air!!
What do U think?? Will U be sad to see Oprah go or do U think it’s time for more affordable daytime talk??

I’m sad it took so long for her to go.I hope she never resurfaces again.
O is such a deceitful, psycho-controling freakshow how could anybody be anything but grateful that she takes herself off the radar. Chicago’s own Bozo is a vast improvment and automaticly raises honesty in America a full 100%.
I am Sooooooooooo glad to see her go. Since she got political.. she gives me seriousss.. heart burn!
Ummmmmmm…… Hellz Ya I will be sad to see Oprah go off the air!!
I have to admit, that when it is 4 O’Clock (here in Vancouver, BC) I have a date with my couch and Miss Winfrey!
If I am not home at 4pm…… you better believe it’s PVR’ing for me to look forward to watching in the evening when the kids are in bed, and the house is quiet.
LOVE HER….. and will MISS HER terribly!! She has done so much wonderful for the world!!
I personally couldn’t give a spluttery bowel movement if she goes.
There’s already a hugely disproportionate amount of lesbians on TV as it is !!
And, is that her lesbian lover in the background ….? Ya know, ‘Gale’ …Hmmmmmmmmmm
